Certainly something seems to have happened behind the scenes since last May. He had that match when he came on as a sub earlier in the season, tried a few tricks and lost the ball a couple of times.
Doubt it was to do with that, but again, who knows. Info/leeks coming out of the club are tight these days..thankfully in one respect

He will make mistakes and sometimes they will cost us. That is what happens when you sign young players and trust them in the first team. The upside is that you get to see genuinely exciting players like Alli get better and grow by the week.

You must've hated Gazza.
 
What a beautifully worked freekick, inch perfect! That move is often available, great play to pull it off.

Yes I noticed Alli barge into him earlier when the ball wasn't near them, they were battling for a while before Alli kicked him

I just assumed he has a knock as also didn't play in the u21 game.

Hopefully thorsvedt is very wrong cos he's an exceptional young player to have in our squad. There would have to have been a serious behavioural incident recently if he is being weeded out.

He did get roostery around the time of his contract negotiations, openly saying he wants big money so I guess he isn't happy being out of the first X1.

Hopefully that hasn't led him to do something silly.

Did he sign a new deal? When does it run til?
 
This a great chance to come away with another win even if a two-goal lead if stick at it. Hoepfully it doesnt turn into Anderlecht

I don't know what my opinion of Alli's silly passes has to do with my opinion on Gazza. Seems you are trying to make this bigger than it actually is. I simply said i was worried about Alli being over confident due to silly passes he tries to make and have not said anything about hating him or thinking he is a bad player etc.

I guess when Bentaleb played them passes against United your reaction was the same? That he is a youngster learning and he will make mistakes?
