I think we have to remember that you rarely see a team go from playing badly to playing brilliantly. I've been quite happy with the level of performance we've seen so far. I wasn't expecting prime Spurs today.

There have been a few games this season where we have been the better team and not won and people say only the result matters. Flip it around and we are putting in a fighting performance and winning all of a sudden it's the performance that is the problem. End of the day you can't really win, even if you do win (not that we have won this game yet!)...
 
In amongst the torrent of words from my Arabic friend, these two are repeated a lot: muja hedin (warrior?) - and al mubarat. I should have some sort of live translator app on.

Does he get assists? I assume you would want us to challenge for the big honours like the PL and CL? Do you think we can do that with forwards in the team like Johnson? I don’t. We should be aiming to get players like Saka and Salah, players who score AND create. Not saying those kind of players are easy to get, but that’s what we should aim for.
 
How is Son still on the pitch? Not only a poor performance a cowardly one too. He's pulled out of tackles that he should have won and there was a time we were attacking down the left with Udogie and Kulu were Son was 10 yards offside and made zero effort to get back onside. Also, gives no help to Udogie defensively.
