***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Wolverhampton Wanderers, Molineux, Sat 25th April, 3pm - ***

fudging hell we needed that. What an emotional roller coaster of a game with the changes to the West Ham score, injuries, is looking good at times looking like we may fall apart at times, the goal, the save at the end.

New injuries will make things difficult, but a win should boost our confidence somewhat at least.

Feel for Simons, looked serious. Good vibes with Maddison back on the bench at least and then that...

At least there's still hope.

Nah, that's not true at all. Waddle's off his nut there. They were fighting, they were working hard, Wolves folded into a block and our usual issues of not quality chances vs some sloppy play (especially from Muani) led to a second-half where without Solanke, and then Simons, I think the team were rocked. In fact, given that we lost two more key players to injury in 97 minutes, i think this result was huge.
Here's the players we 'thought' would be available for DeZerbi on arrival to play in the same team at the same time.
Kudus, Romero, Udogie, Xavi, Sarr, Vicario.
I won't even bother mentioning Maddison, Deki, and Odobert.
Does Davies count?
It's madness.
Fully agreed. The effort was absolutely there. The fight was there. They struggled at times with controlling their frustration about the thing, but that's only natural I think. But our struggles don't look like a lack of caring or trying.

So much quality lacking through injuries it's unreal. Us struggling to create chances shouldn't come as a surprise.

I think the West Ham winner today could be vital, both psychologically and obviously on a points basis.

It was a pretty mediocre performance by us too; not one to inspire much hope of getting three more wins, which is the minimum we’ll likely need.

So, difficult to feel too upbeat, good as it is to get 3 points on the board at last.
Yeah, I'm happy for the win, but all in all the situation is slightly worse now than before the game, as the points gap is still the same, but with one less game to catch them.
Can't do anything about the other teams, just have to keep winning.

I've said we will get relegated since Tudor came in, and this win hasn't changed much.

I' ve only seen highlights but didn't notice as many unforced errors from the team and the dreaded stats appear to show our passing and retention of ball was better. Thought the goal was offside but who cares all decisions are a lottery. I know Palhinha offers little creativity but his drive and attitude help in games like this.
I never like to look beyond our next match but I expect all our remaining fixtures to be like this, tense scrappy games with any wins coming from a solitary goal.
