Left-sided CB
Progressive midfielder
Striker

Three players.

I thought the second-half was comfortable for 30 minutes or som, and had Kane buried his free-header from the corner like he should have, we win by 3 or 4 goals. I wonder if Ndombele came off because he was tiring or hurt? Because the moment PEH came on, we started to lose midfield edge again.

Sanchez clearly done for both goals, however he cannot fill the left-side of defence in either a 4 or 3 as he really does not adapt well. Much much better when Japhet went there.

Lucas did little tonight, and these are the games he needs to shine in.

As a Dele fan, it saddened me greatly to confess that if Newcash came in with 25 or 30 mill I’d bite their hand off. He was poor.

Sess? Stupid plus he was having a poor game before that, no covering play and little going forward. I fear a bust. Let’s loan him again and see.

IF we could Peresic on a short-term deal, he’d be wonderful for this squad.

Thought Lucas did quite well and set up the goal didn't he? Always looked to drive forward with the ball and was chopped down or held on at least 4 occasions.

Mate, he was playing, against, a Slovenian plumber.

5th place team in the Slovenian division. Paid 1/150th of what he makes, weekly.

Still got humiliated multiple times. In position or out of position, the bloke got schooled by players far, far, far below his supposed 'level'.

Let's look at how his career has progressed - came to Spurs, had a great first year, then went straight downhill - 2018/2019, was bad, 2019/2020, was bad, 2020/2021, was atrocious, 2021/2022, got sat on his a*se by a Slovenian plumber in the third-tier Conference league. Twice.

Mourinho's first things said to him were saying he specifically targeted his weaknesses in the EL final against Ajax. Sanchez proceeded to f*ck up on a weekly basis under that odious c*nt.

Nuno - probably his best period, tbh. For three months being protected by a back 10, he didn't make too many errors.

This bit about loyalty from players is hilarious. We've given him five years, and he has grown worse every year.

Loyalty? Loyalty to Winks (five years), Dele (six years), Sanchez (five years) is why we're in the mess we are in, mate.

We aren't at some super level where he has to earn his right to play. He, and the other wasters, have dragged us down to his level, which is being beaten by a Slovenian pub team, the worst-ranked in Europe.

Loyalty to these players got us into this situation. You think giving Davinson ten years at Spurs will improve his ability not to get haplessly sat on his arse by a Slovenian part-time potato farmer?

Agree we need players - at the very least three probably more.

We need a CF who can hold the play up and provide a focal point to our attacks. Kane has reverted to a lumbering incompetent and would be best suited to a Sherringham role.

We need a tricky winger who can beat a man and can get to the byline and turn defences. We lack anyone providing width . Son and Lucas both cut in to a congested middle of the pitch.

We need a general playmaker in midfield who can control games. NDummy, LoCelso, Winks, Alli are all (now) substandard and should be sold asap. We need quality not abject quantity.

We need a natural left sided centre back to play in a three at the back. Davies isn't good enough, Sanchez can't play there and the coach plainly doesn't rate Rondon. Dougherty has proved another dud.

We need a new goalkeeper on the assumption Lloris is in his last season.

We need to sack whoever was responsible for our recent player purchases. Why is Hitchen still here ffs!

If we bring no one in but ship Sanchez, Doherty, Dele, Winks and Sessegnon out to a team at or below NS Mura/Dinamo Zagreb's level, we will have improved immeasurably.

Just getting them out of the club will do wonders for showing that this level of utter uselessness, fecklessness and laziness won't be tolerated anymore, imo.

After that, yes, I agree with you.

Get Alessio Romagnoli. Get Marcelo Brozovic. Get Andrea Belotti.

All three are in the final years of their deals, and will be free to negotiate free transfers in January. Don't wait, offer their clubs good fees to snap them up early. Clubs will prefer making money on them to losing them for nothing.

Bring them in.
