Never seem to get decent numbers in the box. It's like there's some sort of force field around the 18 yard area.
 
Without our two players must likely to create something with a pass we look like an AVB team again completely unable to break anyone down, drinking pointlessly and shooting from distance.
 
i really cant see things improving against the better sides until we recruit in central midfield. we've got 162 players in there, all painfully average with similar skill sets.

until this problem is addressed they'll be plenty more days like this ahead against good sides.

We lack pace in defense and attack. Sterling has ruined us today.

Need to salvage something from this game, a goal or rousing last ten mins, because this is a real confidence knocker otherwise.
 
We don't move the ball quickly enough. We give too much respect to sides when they attack and stand off them. We try to run the ball in to corners with no tactical plan of what we'll do with the ball. Gah

I don't understand why he took Eriksen and Bentaleb off. It's worrying he doesn't see that without them there is noone to pull the strings and make things happen. Personally I think he should male Eriksen the playmaker, play him in the middle and make sure he has the freedom to make things happen - because he is the best we've got at the moment. (and don't take him off for Townsend or Dembele)
 
Not sure Ade is the problem to be honest. At least, not today. He's been least worst if anything. It's the midfield behind and the movement around and off him where we have got is badly wrong in this game.
 
Simply LFC have stretched us; we've not moved and passed as a unit (43 passes before a goal etc) and Younes has been away with the fairies
