The most frustrating thing to me is the desperate lack of football intelligence we show at times. You look at things like where we direct headers to team-mates - look how often we put them into spaces where a Forest player picks it up. It isn't even not winning the 2nd ball (which we also don't do), but poor football intelligence to not anticipate where the ball is going. Likewise with the likes of Dier and Davies stepping up to try and press Johnson and Gibbs-White, who simply turned past them and left them dead on the half- way line like fools.
I've talked enough about being dominated in midfield, so I won' t repeat myself - the 3-4-3 is going to come back to bite us on the ass eventually, and maybe we need it to for Conte to change things.
But I alsp agree with him that at times it isn't a tactical issue - it's the team looking slow, arrogant, stupid, or all three. Think lads, think. Compete, win the 2nd balls, step up, but *think* - see where the ball is going to go, and be there. Basics that 10 year olds know.
Watching Arsenal against Fulham, there was a constant threat, energy, and intelligence to Arsenal's movements that we just lack.
