But we weren't really doing that tonight until the subs, at least that's what it felt like to me.

I thought Kane and PEH were our two best players, probably in that order. Bentancur also has a good game and I really like how calm and assured Lenglet is.
 
First off all, Kane had a good game overall, but feck me I feel sorry for Gil! He did ever so well when he came on, and should have had a penalty assist and an easy goal, but Kane robbed him of both. He should apologise to Bryan! I still can't believe we didn't score more than 3!

I thought Kane was poor, by his own standards, but still better than he has been for most of the season.

We get him going we are unbeatable.

Some excellent performances tonight, some really good and mostly good but Bentancur was motm for me.
Dictated our tempo and fed kane good passes that allowed kane to play.
Barely noticed lenglet and that's a good thing in my opinion, quietly effective.

He absolutely bullied their CH who was going with him every time he dropped deep. Put numerous balls in to get us in good attacking positions and made the penalty he converted all by himself. Other than scoring the second penalty I’m not sure he could’ve done much better today.

It’s his thing. He bigs up the unfashionable players and plays down the importance of our best players. Genuinely surprised he didn’t pick Royal as MOM regardless of his involvement in their 2nd goal. Him and Lloris were awful for the 2nd goal.
