Needed the var ref to right him after a series of poor calls and forgot about the first yellow, otherwise we would never have seen the second and red.

I think the farcical end to the game took the spotlight off the ref. He was terrible, in the second half there were several bad tackles that were ignored by him and he missed or bottled out of sending off an other of their players for a tackle on Kane.
