I have a theory (no Anne Elk comments please). Playing three up top may mean fewer goals rather than more with our line up. With just Son/Kane, Kane drops deep and he only has one person to pass to (usually). Son gets more chances and also has more freedom in terms of the space he occupies. But with Richarlison up front as well, possession/chances are shared out between three players who all tend to drift towards the box.

I think, perversely, by playing this line up Conte may have neutered Son.

Yes, the balance of this 3 doesnt seem right. Too similar. Needs 2 of these + Kulu, or 2 of these and a creative CM

Didn't neuter him last season, nothings changed, just Son off form. He could easily have had two already tonight

Almost gifted them the lead. He is only decent when the ball is stopped, at his feet and no pressure. Change one and problems come and în an area you don't want them
