Our fans generally speaking appear to be the biggest idiots in the league sadly. When things are not going well all we seem to do is bitch and abuse our own players which is really sad to see.

Lennon and Defoe I thought had excellent games, Verts was good again, Siggy defo better on the left but still feel we shouldve brought on Townsend to run at the booked Ivanovic or move across Lennon, some strange decisions from AVB

Losing Bale & Dembele was huge, CFC wouldnt have been the same attacking wise without say Mata and Hazard / Torres / Oscar, those 3 werent great for me

Obviously gutted to lose but given the nature of the performance with the two class players missing I dont feel too fudging off performance wise

Spurs fans apart from a 20 minute spell were utter brick again today, the atmosphere we once had has gone for good I feel now

You can pick players in their defence, midfield and attack that cost more than our equivalent players in the whole of those positions e.g Luiz cost more than our whole defence, Hazard cost more than our whole midfield and Torres cost more than 70% of our side at a guess

Like wise when a team is missing players of the calibre of Bale, dembele, Benny, Kaboul and Parker that was a decent result if not the best performance. As you say if they lost Terry (which we know they did), Ramires, Mata, Cole and hazard they would be very average IMO.

Lets see if we can win our next 4 on the spin and see where that leaves us

Agreed. Whatever tactical things we discuss, outright slagging and player-bashing is not on. And whatever about today, I think we could all see the massive effort exerted. It's why I cannot be angry at any player for their efforts today, they all worked hard...it was just the details.

Just look at the match ratings thread to see how some slag off individual players, mate. unbelievably,there are ones, twos and threes being awarded.

I agree with you that the effort was great by all the players. Some supposed supporters seem to want to pillory some of our individual players though.

BTW I dont see your ratings on that thread
