With Doherty who put us under pressure with a stupid pass. Sanchez hacking at Lukaku after being unlucky with the first tackle. And then Tanganga.

This has been abysmal so far.

but can I just say Doherty is absolute brick. That attack wouldn’t have happened if he hadn’t just given the ball away.

Yep.

And if Sanchez hadn't done his usual, the freekick wouldn't have been conceded.
And if DOherty was able to make a positive contribution, then they wouldn't have been there on the pitch for the foul.
 
Thats 3 fudging times our players have been too close to each other. That freekick wouldn’t have happened if Hojberg hadn’t got to close to Sanchez when he made ab excellent sliding tackle on Lukaku only for it to bounce back off of Hojberg for Sanchez to have to make another challenge.
 
Two fuk ups in defence. Not much else to be said. Other than Conte should have have taken one of them off and put on a midfielder.
