I think Bale helps massively as he attracts a couple players and puts defenders on edge, and that creates more time and space for Kane, Son etc. Its completely different to playing Lamela, Bergwijn etc - just dont offer the same threat

And bale can pass accurately over range
It’s an out ball option every time

Kane’s done some good things in this game but sometimes he attracts unnecessary challenges by holding onto the ball too long. Increases risk of losing the ball or a tap on on those ankles.
