Tbh the weather around Burnley is notoriously bad compared to areas in the Midlands. IIRC Turf Moor is quite high up compared to most grounds...bar WBA and Buxton

City game on. They cleared the snow in 15 mins at halftime. I think it's ridiculous the game was called off.

That's probably one of th latest postponements I can remember. In these cases the club usually get a local ref to do an early inspection if is in doubt.

I feel sorry for fans who have trecked up there, and that couple from Dallas in particular, however in the context of a season its irrelevant. As I posted on the previous page, I think there's a number of upsides so its highly questionable that this is a negative for us

Look at that video.
You can see how effective those very large broom [things] are; I'd say 40 men with 40 of those would clear a light snowfall in 10 minutes.
And thus heavier snowfall could be cleared in 20 minutes, we could easily have delayed kick off by half an hour and got it sorted.

I take this postponement as a small blessing, if we came straight back home, Conte can have them all on the training pitch in the morning, to get more out of them, instead of the player having a rest day.
