I really wonder what people were expecting - 1-0 is excellent considering our situation in the league with this extremely young inexperienced side.

Their pressing is even better than ours. They're not letting us have any time on the ball.
 
Just back whilst it's HT. 1-0 ain't a bad score for us at the minute.

I'd like to see Dembele for Onomah, Kane for Chadli and Lamela for Son. By about the 60th min. A 2-1 defeat would be a decent result imo. No need to panic.

They are a qtr final CL team.

I would get Dembele, stem the tide, otherwise they will get 2.
We might have some joy with 25yd efforts, but we can't get closer than 40!
They're formation is a pleasure to watch - but we have to find a way to ask them some questions.

They are up there with PSG and Bayern. This was alway going to be very very scary.

I don't know what people were expecting.
 
Sometimes I feel that Poch is unable to change things when they aren't working out. The high pressing was a disaster in the first half. We couldn't get near them, and they played their way through our pressure every time, leaving us exposed further down the line. It would have been better to sit deep and defend compactly in the final third with ten men behind the ball. The gaps have been huge for Dortmund to exploit.

Hopefully we can get ourselves better organised at half time, and hopefully we still have a chance of progressing when the game is over.

Having said that, they are by far the best team we have faced this season, and we are understrength.

Lamela is a good call with Dembele.
I'd leave Son on, once we can get fwd he can be a threat.
 
Not gonna complain about this half. I would suggest removing Son and moving Onomah up front. Son cant create anything and keeps tripping over his legs. Bentaleb on for Son is my call.
 
What the fk is the point in playing in this tournament? Play all those matches, long trips etc and then put that team out in the first meaningful challenge we Face. We will be 3 down here by the end if we are lucky....joke! On a par with Rogers playing a weakened team in Madrid last year, very poor from Poch!
 
Considering the side out there...we are not doing okay. Now we're behind we should really apply ourselves. Looking forward to the battle this half...
