OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v aston villa

Soldado was always going to end up this way....he's a poacher...he needs to be fed in the box...We spent 26m on him and have supplied him with 1 clear cut chance in about 8 games. Was so obvious how it will end up.

Nope. Chiriches "long balls" were nearly all across the back 4 to Dawson or Paulinho or Sandro... of course those are accurate.
 
I have to say that if we are going to be in with a chance of finishing top 4 we cannot continue to play like this. We need to have more tempo in our play, we lack fluidity, it really is slow and ponderous at the moment and yet again there is no service to Soldado at all. Its almost like the striker in our team's role at the moment is to literally move around up front in the hope that it creates space for one of our midfield players to come through.

I know we have had a lot of changes and and i wasn't expecting us to click straight away but there's little signs of improvement. On the plus side we do have a lot of talented players which should ensure that we pick up results more often than not. I just hope we are still in the hunt by the team we do click.

Still on the plus side we are 1-0 up, we are going to need another goal to kill this game. COYS!
 
I think AvB has the game where he wants it, frustrating the oppo with slow build up possession. Then wham, goal, slow control again. We speed up when the oppo becomes more reckless.

We need another goal though.
 
Was baffled at the start when Holtby was chosen ahead of Eriksen and will be even more baffled if he plays more than another 5-10 mins. He's done nothing. At least Eriksen gives us someone who can play quick incisive balls
 
We need to remove Sigg and Holtby, they aren't doing enough.

Whack on anyone, Lamela, Eriksen, just change it up please Aston Villas Boas
