We're playing alright, but we look like a bit of a mismatch side where the players aren't entirely match fit.


Which is unsurprising seeing as a number of them aren't match fit.

Chiriches is the only player playing himself into contention for the first team IMO. Closely followed by naughton, who has had a very good game.
 
Townsend trying too hard as usual. Rather than just play the simple pass. If he's sold so be it. Would he leave us short on home grown or English players?

Poch will see what Sandro can provide. Also Poch will be getting a good idea of Dembele. Moments of greatness, punctuated by a rush of blood when he gets around the box.

We could sell Lennon, Naughton, Townsend and buy someone like Deplay. If we could sell them and meet quotas etc.

Chuffed with Pochettino. Movement and getting the players passing. Great setup.

Just got in from work in time for the penalty miss!

I'm quite surprised at some of the players included, especially Chiriches -- I thought he'd definitely be on his way out. Glad we've picked a good team though, none of these sides we play are complete mugs.

Kane is excellent.
 
Paulinho has been excellent along with Sandro. Limassol have hardly been able to get out of their half because of our pressing.

Kane a mixed bag but took his goal well. Dembele's been decent.
 
Movement, passing, possession is nice.

Hard to be to harsh as its a put together side, truth is, decent passing, 1-0 at HT, should be at least 3-0.

Ok from Kane, but still shows how much a clinical finisher could add to the club.

No but he has made really good progress over the last 12 months and I am more than happy with him being one of our three strikers

Based on his previous, you haven't missed much - but why do they presist with pitch-side wibble?. Nearly always clashes with events, announcements, or chants.

Oh yeah - it's ITV.

Paulinho MoM so far. Had some very nice plays before the penalty, set up the penalty, set up the goal and has been good in pressing. Townsend playing blindfolded...again.... You can see it on his face how he's gonna play. If he looks like he wants to take a crap, you know he's on a one man mission. So fed up with him!!!
