OMT Spurs vs Emirates Marketing Project

Yes, that would be my immediate concern too if I caught them in flagrante.
They’re on very low pay anyway and think they lose much needed bonuses if behind schedule.

I hope she finished him off quickly and got him on his way again.

Also, people are waiting in for their parcels, so we can’t forget there’s the important customer service angle which can’t be overlooked too.

Rochards is massively biased today
He even said we don’t have an alternative way of playing... that’s utter gonad*s

It’s a breathtaking lack of insight for a man paid to talk about the game. Did he watch the Southampton and Man U games?

As someone else pointed out, Pep has one way of playing and Klopp hasn’t varied his game plan much either in 5 years.

You know what? I felt nervous throughout, and I don't think that will ever go away as a Spurs fan.

But, thinking back...how many clear chances did they actually have out of their 22-odd shots?

This wasn't like the other games we've snuck against City in recent seasons. They used to carve us open with ease, but by some miracle, we would come out on top. Both CL games and both games against them last season fit this script.

But today wasn't like that. Despite their usual domination of stats, this was a lot more controlled - there were some superb tackles, players winning their individual battles all over the field, and a sense of grim determination paired with an iron resolve. I didn't feel like we were lucky at all.

This felt fully, thoroughly earned.

Well done to all the players, and to Mourinho - this is the sort of control that we have been missing for three years or more. Is it coming in a different form than we perhaps expect? Certainly.

Do I care? Certainly not. I just want to watch a game and feel like Spurs are controlling the tempo again - which I last felt in 2017.

@milo - Kane the MotM by a country mile. Honorable mentions to Dier, Hojbjerg and Toby.

I didn't feel nervous at all, City never looked like scoring and despite possession in the final third never really threatened

Playing Son on the right was an interesting choice. We've seen it a little bit recently but I suspect that it caught City by surprise

I think the defensive traits shown today reminded me of 2008 when we had woody and ledders - the way we controlled the games in the semi and final v the scum and chavs, the whole team played immense.

Now, Mou to work more magic as Toby is probably going to be out injured for a while...
