It wasn't afaik. The ref confirmed it was for the foul at half time according to my stream. Not if it’s for dissent it isn’t
It wasn't a foul though. He got the ball.
So the ref made a mistake? That is what we are debating right. On replay yes. In real time, I thought it was a foul and if you give that as a foul, you have to also give a yellow imo.
Regardless, I find this kind of thing strange. Nobody expects any player to make 400% passing accuracy, 400% shots on target, 400% tackling success etc. Yet it is expected for refs for some reason.
Jesus Kane, how on earth did he miss that?
I'm not sure why but I find Lamela an incredibly frustrating player. Maybe its because I think he should do a lot more with his ability. Just dont ever see him getting 10-15 goals a season regularly, or creating as much as he should do

I'm not.No we're debating if the ref is 'against us'.
I'm saying that in real time, I would also have given that as a foul and if you give that as a foul, you should also give a yellow. On replay, it was not a foul but the ref doesn't have the benefit of a replay (or our bias) to say its not a foul.
I was then saying that these individual mistakes are used to provide evidence of ref incompetency/ corruption when, for example, Kane has just made a bigger mistake than this ref has in this match.
