Mike Dean was actually very good today. No problem with him today. It's VAR that fudges up time and time again.
There's little difference in what Sterling did to what Aubameyang did the other week, but the outcome is different. Son gets sent off for what basically was just a tripping, and then again for brushing his foot against rudiger. Stone wall penalties, like Southampton yesterday, not given, blatant dives earning pens not pulled back. VAR has been an utter brick show in the Premier league!
Why didn’t Dean show a red to sterling then check it with Var apologies if he can’t do that.. He didn’t need VAR to send off the other City bloke(forgotten his name).

What makes a team deserve more?
Missing shots or scoring shots?

When you’re the home team challenging for the top 4 and you have 3 shots on goal in 90 mins and the other team fails to score because of wasteful finishing then yes I’d argue you don’t deserve to win. Bit different if the shots were all from outside the area but that’s not what happened today.

So you’re just a miserable fudger then;). No worries mate good to talk to fellow Spurs fans.

I’m a positive fan
Always am
Always try to be
I actually get abused for it too

And as I’ve said we have stepped up today because the team executed the managers instructions for the first time in some time

And a huge part of that was having players on the pitch that wanted to be here and no obstructive ones off it. Great management

takes years to learn to be a great manager and we now have a guy in charge who has won more trophies as a manager than the club has own in 130 ish years

Poch hasn’t won a trophy and that’s his next hurdle. He won’t win anything with poison players in his team
I’ll add that I loved rose. Met him several times and he loves spurs too.

Because it didn't look like a red card challenge from his view, and to be fair, at first I wasn't even sure which way the FK should go! This is exactly what VAR is supposed to be about! Taking a closer look at things that happen so fast and is difficult to see for the ref. But it's failing miserably.

Exactly

He wasn’t bad but some will dig him out

VAR didn’t help him today and made his job harder

Dean was okay today and I can understand why he didn't give sterling a red even if I thought it was deserved.

My respect for Dean went up hugely when the video of him at that Tranmere game surfaced. What a legend.

But they hit the target 5 times... 5 times including a penalty
Take the penalty away and it’s 4 times
Is that good when your dominant with the ball?

At natural speed which is how it should be seen the most it didn’t look as bad as it did in slow mo... which was a red the way they use VaR

it was worse than sons contact on Rudigger by some way

What Mourinho has won in the past means absolutely nothing to me now he is working under the constraints that exist at Spurs. Every club is different and we have appointed proven winners before who have failed spectacularly. Poch is the most successful manager I have known in my 40 years as a fan, in terms of League finishes and where he took us to in in the European cup despite the obstacles he faced. Jose has a long way to go to emulate that He also showed before January that despite how successful he has been he could barely get a better tune out of the squad we had when he came in.

George Graham, Juande Ramos, AVB.

Graham I’ll give you

what had AvB won or Ramos?
AVB won the europa (the others weren’t majors) and so did Ramos

yeah they won trophies. Wouldn’t call them winners per se but they did at least win a few before hand

They lost the game because of poor finishing. Aguero missed the target from the 6 yard box. De Bruyne missed the target from inside the box , you’d expect him to trouble the keeper. Gundogan would have had a tap in if not for a terrible pass from Sterling. Aguero missed a one on one where he would score more often than not.

Honestly can’t think of a genuine chance we created other than for Son’s goal. Bergwijn’s goal wasn’t even a half chance.

I remember a game last season we lost to United because of poor finishing. I wouldn’t say United deserved the 3 points.
