This team will be much more tricky in the away game. They have shown some nice touches at times.

A very mixed bag, lots of positives, lots of silly negatives.

Our B Team wins and we move onwards.

Hojbjerg, Vinicius, maybe Hart but @milo Moura was my Mom. Made some nice runs to open them up when they were in the game and trying. Got a goal.

We looked a little unsettled - like a team that are not used to playing which makes sense as there were a lot of players who are not sure of a starting place or match fit. But we are getting better at nullifying the opposition. We give away too many silly fouls in our final third of the pitch. But otherwise we're defending better and better.

Vinicius has a really nice attitude. Likeable guy, and he got two good assists. He is a bit raw. Training with Kane he should refine his finishing skills. But he's at the races, has excellent movement, and clearly can play others in too.

What with the late goal dramas it probably doesn't feel like it, but it is now 9 matches unbeaten and 1 defeat in the last 16. Step by step.

Couple of tricky away days to come. Not sure what we will come up against next Thursday, know nothing of Antwerp, but we know what Burnley will offer on a wet Monday night

We played until the whistle - love it. Why can't we do that every time?

MoM: don't know really. Great debut by Vicinius, lots of potential but raw of course. I really like what I see from Reguilon, but it has to be said that it's been such a poor position since Rose were good. Højbjerinho bossed the midfield, but it has to be said that Linz were pretty naff and for the most stood off our players. Which is better for Winks, who I thought had an ok game. I liked Davies at CB, much more than on the left. I think CB suits his skillset better. Good run out for Bale too. Nice goals. Job well done.
