And he’s one of our own.
Agreed on Royal's weak shot that was parried. Kepa should have done better. That's on Kepa not Skipp, Kepa had two chances to prevent that goal, fudged up both (initial from Royal that he didn't hold on to and shot)
Congrats Skipp, nice way to get your first, against the Blue Scum, in front the south stand, with a banger
Skippy isn't the quickest and sometimes looks half a yard off the pace , hence the yellows in the last few games but he did get better , especially after his goal and he reads and anticipates danger very well mixed with the right amount of aggression and he's neat and tidy on the ball.Great goal. Thought he started shakily but grew into the game. Lot more to come from him IMO
Great interview from him on MotD. I'm starting to get the biggest man crush since Harry broke through.
Love having another player coming through the ranks that is so good
Build the team around this man.
The surprise around Skipp playing well by pundits and fans alike is a strange one. Before Bentancur came in and Skipp got injured he was first choice and doing well.
It was Enzo Fernandes who made the clearance. He also nicked the ball from Kepa. Could have just left it, and Kepa would have picked up his own rebound.Agreed on Royal's weak shot that was parried. Kepa should have done better.
Then the clearance was super weak and dangerous, just a low scrape to a waiting midfielder, was that Koulibaly?
Then I think Kepa couldn't see past man-mountain Koulibaly, that fraction of a second made it a harder save.

I want to get carried away.Let's not get carried away here
