Scandal started lastnight sounds decent..

is a new drama that centers on Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington), a former media relations consultant to the President who has the power to “fix” things for everyone.
 
Anyone seen Generation Kill?

One off, six part tv series, set during the invasion of Iraq.

Rolling Stone magazine style insight into modern warfare and pretty damn good.
 
A friend of mine loves it, will grab the DVD off him.

Just finished the first season of Homeland, really liked it, thought it was a great show, looking forward to how they carry it on.

Also been watching Community a fair bit, like Spaced but set in a college and American.
 
Sorry if been brought up somewhere else but now it's easy enough to find any TV Series or stream sport online have many of you got rid rid of your Sky subscriptions? I'm thinking of ringing up to cancel next couple days. Hopefully it will cut down on the amount of dross I watch and I can just stick to watching the good stuff folks here have recommended.
 
The only things I watch on TV these days are Discovery Channel and the occasional sports broadcast. Most football matches I watch on rivers.

I got the most basic sky package but only really because it was marginally more expensive than getting calls/broadband/line rental on their own. Can't bring myself to spend any more on skysports or movies with the availability rivers/downloads
 
Only recently got into The Thick Of It. Anyone else seen it? Some brilliant characters with an Office style feel about it. Very funny indeed.
 
Soon to finish The Mentalist Season 3

Does it pick up in Season 4 at all? Any sign of Red John or similar drama? I think Red John is Lisbon btw

You've got an interesting finale coming up. Season 4 is more of the same. Not a lot of Red John, but I'm enjoying it anyway. As long as they know they've got more seasons there won't be much progress.
