Official No game this weekend OMT

Well. It could have been worse. swift response to the opener.

I do think we will need to score at least another 2 goals to win this, because they look like they have another goal in them
 
Son may not have been that involved. But he has a habit of going missing in the occasional game and then, just when I'm moaning at Poch for not subbing him, he scores.
So just Sissoko off for the moment please - Lamela is quite capable of doing defensive duties as well, so no point having the hapless Sissoko on really.
 
Sissoko tracked back once around the 35 minute mark and did a decent tackle to stop Soton from attacking down our right. He also did some successful short passes.
 
Horrible conditions. Players didn't look ready to play in those conditions.

Generally we looked a little slow, wanted too much time on the ball, and the waterlogged pitched slowed our passing. We need a little more urgency, sharpness, and work the ball into their box. Where we will no doubt score, as they look shaky at the back.
 
Very poor. I’d have Big Vic on for Sissoko because our front players are being starved. We aren’t working the ball into good attacking situations like we had on the stroke of half time because they’re winning the midfield battle.

Failing that, I’d have Lamela on for Sissoko. Failing that I’ll come on for Sissoko. He’s a fudging travesty.
 
We are plodding and getting outplayed in midfield. Sloppy passing at times and lost out in a lot of 50-50s.
