I'm currently listening to The Smashing Pumpkins "Machina: The Machines of GHod" for the first time in about 10yrs and its actually not bad. Not bad at all.

I spent from 92 to 98 being a huge SP fan and even though I continued to buy the albums I lost a little interest from Adore onwards but I need to go back and listen to these later albums a bit more methinks.

Didn't like Zeitgeist, nor Billy Corgan's solo project. Thought he was finished to be honest, however he raised his game and the last album Oceania was great imo.

From 2008s EP American Gothic:

Demos that came out with the 2012 re-issue of MCIS:

Pearl Jam's new album 'Lightning Bolt' is streaming for free on iTunes for anyone interested. Out to buy next Monday.

I've not listened to it yet. I've got a routine with first listens of new albums from bands I love.

Get a physical copy.

Headphones.

Blaze.

Dark room.

Enjoy.

Certainly not poking fun at cerebral palsy as our little girl is high risk to have this.

I saw the Cult last night in Southampton.. Billy Duffy seems to get better and better and can play a mean rock riff or three... Ian Astbury's voice had gone midway through the set which was a shame... but still put on a good show!

This was what I listened to as a kid

My friends made a nice cover of "Wake me up" by Avici. We all used to be in the same band when I lived in US. Miss them dearly. Mike (singer) is amazing.
