I'm currently listening to The Smashing Pumpkins "Machina: The Machines of GHod" for the first time in about 10yrs and its actually not bad. Not bad at all.

I spent from 92 to 98 being a huge SP fan and even though I continued to buy the albums I lost a little interest from Adore onwards but I need to go back and listen to these later albums a bit more methinks.

Adored Gish, the rest were, to me, pish (odd song aside).

Neil Young has cancelled the remainder of his tour and I was meant to see him on Sunday. Got a full refund, but it's money I would much rather be without

Was set to be his first gig in Liverpool since the Tonight's The Night tour in '74. Devastated, there is no guaranteeing he will tour again

What's happened? Is it health related?

Googled it again.

One of Crazy Horse said that it may be the last tour as Crazy Horse.

Neil will still tour I reckon. Even if its just solo acoustic or something.

Bummer you missed out though.

Sorry I switched off the computer after writing that. I'm not too sure he will do a world wide tour again. He has had his own health issues of recent years. And plus I really wanted to see the Horse. Saw him at Glastonbury in '09 but I can't recall who the backing band were.

Ideally I would like to see him in a small theatre, doing his acoustic solo show, but the chances of him doing somehting like that over here, and then getting a ticket, are less than minimal

The Avalanches- Since I Left You is the best album of all time. If you disagree I hate you.

Saw him (backed by Pearl Jam) on the Mirrorball tour in 1995.

What. A. Show!

i would have given anything to have met and banged a young stevie nicks..

Had you been of the age to have met, and banged her, I'd suggest you might have had a shot at administering cocaine to her via the ring-piece through a straw...
