Got their last three albums, all very very good. Beautifully crafted.

They are much more an album band though, the odd song can't do them justice.

Ouch... just cost me £268 for 5 tickets to take the family to see the Killers at Wembley next summer.. at least it's the Chrissie presos sorted for the kids now. Went on sale at 9am UK time this morning. Ticketmaster website was crap (as per normal) but got straight through the SEE Ticket website. I'll have forgotten the pain of the price by next June though!
 
Considered buying Roger Waters tickets yesterday, but hard to justify spending £100+- on a ticket when I've seen the show once. I wish he'd done Animals in stead of The Wall, or APATGOD or WYWH, anything else really.
On another note, Orange Goblin is releasing their first albums on vinyl today, if I had any money I'd buy them. I know that Ben, the vocalist, is a Liverpool fan, but he's a fun guy and he makes good music so it evens out.

Agreed, but wouldn't bother, Waters is an awful vocalist these days IMO. Piper At the Gates of Dawn was almost entirely written and sung by Barrett, so wouldn't be right of him to do that one.

I saw the show last year and I don't think it was too bad to be honest, it was very good actually. I've heard a few live songs where he sounds absolutely crap though, but in the end he is a brilliant vocalist, imo, as well as a musician.
And yeah, of course it would be strange to do Piper, was just the first thing that popped into my head when I thought about PF.
 
Lots of Stones tickets up for sale for face value and less for tonight at the O2..

The ****s who brought them to sell on for a huge huge markup are finding that people are saying do one..

Live At The Regal. Amongst the finest live blues records out there (and there are a lot)

Saw him at Glastonbury last year. He had to be helped on and off the stage, but it was a privilege to see him play live

I saw him a couple of years back in Brum, amazing gig, heard he was boss at Glastonbury as well

Bought Jake Bugg's album today, really impressed with it! Not bad for an 18 year old's first album!

First heard of him through Soccer AM, even though that show has seen better days, it's still good for promoting good guitar music.
