Who wants the '****' gone? Certainly nobody wants him gone now. After the season's end, at the very earliest, and even then he's probably buggering off to the England job anyway. So discussing who'll replace him isn't exactly screaming for his head, seeing as the chances of him staying are very, very small as it is.

plenty, from what I've seen on here, COYS and SC.

England's kind of irrelevant to this point though, some people want him gone whether he was going or not, because he's bottled it / done us over / doesn't rotate / does rotate / is tactically inept... despite what he's done for us over the longer term and disregarding all the past and current positives.

Whenever I ask that of people who slag off Harry I rarely get an answer. Bournemouth, never in the top flight in their history, what did people expect Harry to win there? West Ham, four trophies in their entire history, yet Harry should have been drowning in cups? At Southampton he was only there for half of one season then half of the next. At Pompey, with a bit of cash, he won a cup.

I havent compared Harry to Moyes. I simply said Moyes was a vastly experienced manager because a) its factually true and b) its what we need complered the the 2-3 months in the premiership fly by night flavours of the month.

Chill, no-one is beating on the twitchy faced, tactically inept, tinkering saggy faced taco.

i don't understand why harry gets slaughtered over certain things.........he takes us into champs league for the first time(meaning we finished top 4) ,we beat ac milan on their own patch where the goons got absolutely battered 4 nil a year later,.........we've been third/fourth for 80% of the season this year and hopefully in a final of a cup competition.

Agree we missed our chance to sign a bit of quality in January, but i presume our next manager(or our present one) will get a fair whack to spend in the summer, i presume people prefer to wallow in their own poo rather see what we got or perhaps had if harry went.

You wont get an answer because they are incapable of logical and reasoned thinking

Which is why cursing him for failing to win cups and the like is stupid at the very least. However, legitimate criticism of his lack of rotation/failure to prevent an end-of-season burnout is fine, as far as I'm concerned.

Well, wanting him gone now is macaronic. Despite his faults, he's still in with a shout of getting us CL football and possibly a first FA Cup since 1991. So there's no point screaming for his head now. After the season is the time to assess these things, and like I said, he's probably off to England anyway, so all this 'he must be sacked!' twaddle is pointless, since he'll most likely be gone before Levy has to make that decision.

I have't ever seen anyone ridicule Harry for not winning cups at Spurs.

You also have to question the one game Bale played well through the middle it took Harry about 6 weeks to change it back and he still fudging persists in fudging about with him.

Harry is a lucky manager, very lucky.... because if the players didnt like him as much as they do he would be fudged if he had to rely on tactics to win a game.

I just read a post from someone who spoke of Moyes being a vastly experienced manager. Yet Ive also read posts from that person in the past slating Harry for only winning one FA Cup in 30yrs.

What funds did Harry have at Bournmouth, West Ham, Pompey and Southampton? But Moyes is excused from doing anything of note in the game because he's on a budget?

absolutely spot on

Moyes, at big club Everton, for 10 years and no trophies....thats not good at all. Plus he has had a budget, enough to win a league cup or FA cup

I bolded the last bit to show others how people read what they want. This debate is about people slating him for only winning 1 cup in 30yrs of management. Which has been done on here in the past.

Wriggly wont be able to see this though as he put me on his ignore list :^)

Im still wondering where the 24M from Lescott went.

Distin and that sh#t striker from Leeds? lol

Distin has done fine, as have Hettinga, Jaglielka, they certainly havent missed Lescott and well 24 mill was just mental mental money. Bejesus!!

but yeah, i wonder where the rest of that cash went

I've got no problems with people slagging Harry off for specific things they think he's done wrong.

Nothing to do with comparing Harry to Moyes either, I was just making a general point about people who bash Harry with the "Well what's he won???" stick.

To be fair to Moyes, that club is in so much financial turmoil he REALLY doesn't have any funds to play with. Given the clubs history, it is pretty shocking the position they have grown into, imo.

Well, I fully agree with you there, it's a stupid yardstick to measure Harry with.

Well....he has been the manager there for a decade now...surely as manager, you have some kind of knowledge of affairs. Where's the money?

There isn't any mate. Everton FC is a sink hole and unless they drastically increase their average gate, they will continue to be so. It's pretty common knowledge. Having knowledge of affairs is not the same as having control of them. Having said that, he has probably spent more money than people realise.
