A reason I see Poch not coming back is that he would have a stronger hand than other managers when it comes to dealing with the board. He left as a manager not head coach if I remember rightly? Would he return to the original role?

It’s at least 80% the players and the culture, I’m afraid. It’s failed under too many managers now, and with too many different styles.
The culture, yes, but my dead Nan could get a better tune out of what we have available than TF has.

When you say "too many managers now" I think you can only apply that to Ange as the ones before had Kane and Son.

TF has Kudus who scored 20 goals and assists playing RW in his first PL season with WHam, Muani who had 26 with Frankfurt, Xavi had 22 last season etc. I'm not saying they are world class, but they are a hell of a lot better than we have seen under TF's management and more talented than those playing for many of the teams above us in the PL... Brighton, Bournemouth, Fulham, Sunderland, Brentford, Everton etc. If he managed to turn Toney, Mbuemo and Wissa into 50mil plus players, what is he doing wrong with our ones?

The culture argument did not prevent us from banding together and winning a European trophy last season.

I honestly don't know what the problem stems from as other clubs have similar problems at the board level and yet that doesn't necessarily affect the players, or what the solution is. But what my eyes and a history of supporting this club since I was born 52 years ago tell me is, I don't think TF has the cajones for the moment or the role in general.

There isn't a manager in world football who thinks or is excited of the prospects of coming in to manager Tel, Richy and Kudus with Odobert waiting in the wings as back up...

Even Garry Hill, Barry Fry or Steve Evans would turn their nose up at this wonder talent others seem to think we have. I Reckon Barry Evans would think twice
Remember Poch's first line-up in 2014 had Zeki Fryers at CB and Tom Carroll at ACM. We locked out the top 4 every season after thst
