And so it goes. Pragmatic manager -> well respected manager -> attacking manager -> pragmatic manager etc etc.

Don’t get me wrong, I’d love an Alonso, but I fear a Xavi wouldn’t jive with the culture in our club.

Just tweet Trump that it's embarrassing that they have a South American migrant worker keeping all the wholesome WASP coaches out of a job. He'll be dumped at the Mexican border with an ICE gun at his head in no time.

With Trump likely to threaten to invade any opposition the team face unless they throw the fixture, does Poch really want to be anywhere near that circus?

Do you have some inside information on that? Apparently we sounded out Alonso while he was still at Leverkusen but he was already on Madrid’s radar so no contest. Circumstances have changed since then.
Xavi - I agree, no chance.

He will give youngsters a chance but he will throw a tantrum or he doesn't get his way. And if he decides he doesn't want you, then you finished.

I don't think he is world class. He doesn't seem to play as much like a Barca coach like Pep and Enrique. More his own style. He did very well at Barca cos that was a sinking ship. He made them good enough with his limited resources.

And he had the perfect for for himself after a stint in Qatar and he was frustrated as the players couldn't do what he could and wanted. If he came here, it would be 1000% frustrating
 
De Zerbi would probably be on my list. Attack minded, possession based football in a 4-2-3-1 with that double pivot. A manager who puts incredible pressure on his players to perform. There's always a risk that our prima donnas may just rebel with his hard hitting style though.
 
I want Poch, here's my reasoning.
He knows what he's walking into. Yes the club changed after levy but there is so much more to the club than the high ups.

He's a CB, he will get the best out of our defence.
He's also Argentinian, the same as our captain an opportunity to forge a relationship.

He has a very good relationship with Gallagher, a player to build his mid field around.

He can point to his record of developing players, not just here but at Chelsea to get buy in from gray, Bergvall, tel etc.

After Frank Kudus, Simmons, kulu and Maddison will all be rejuvenated with his desire to attack.

But most importantly I want him because he wants to be here, he's not coming because of the money, it's not a stepping stone, he's not filling in until the next big job becomes available, he's here because he wants to be.

I also think he's probably the best that at this moment in time we could attract.

So he's already harangued her before the game and follows her after, shouting and pointing at her. I get the frustration but probably not the best way to get a response. The most she could have given him was some meaningless platitude which I assume wouldn't be well received either.
(And it's not my intention to defend the Lewis's mk II).

He should be on the list, but I would have concerns over him going full Conte after the board don't give him what he wants.

Ended badly at Brighton.

I get the frustration , but I'm not sure it's OK to harass someone like that, I imagine if he went up to her respectfully the conversation would have gone differently.

Was that because they kept selling his best players and he had the mindset more of a top club manager that wanted to keep building? That could actually work in our favour. I don't really know so much about the guy though.
