Fair point but more a process of elimination:
- Perisic would leave (too old, expensive and not a full back)
- Sess has looked well short of PL standard so far
- Davies isnt particularly mobile

Which leaves Udogie and Reggie
Udogie who is a poor defender and Reggie who failed here and has been largely injured since.
 
Scott Munn is Australian. Tottenham's pre season tour main match is in Australia. Beginning to wonder whether it was always going to be Ange from the very start.

I think the clubs own thoughts on what we need and could work long term has evolved throughout the process.

When its all said and done I think the club would have seen De Zerbi as first choice, Slot number 2 choice and Ange third choice.

anyone with even half a thought that we’ve appointed Munn and might employ Ange based on a weeks pre season tour of Oz needs certifying!
