Wrexham are one of the most hated teams in the UK. Not as bad as Wimbledon, nor City/Cheatski, but Wrexham are cheats and should get in the bin.

I don't know how they've been perceived historically or why. But for the haters of today: people are just envious. You can't watch that documentary and say they havent done something very right over there. I would have loved it if our owners were as transparent and co-operative with fans and the grasroots as they are.

There's no rules against that though. They've generated most/all that money by virtue of being very famous TV/movie stars. I agree that it can be a little bit gross, but the key difference for me with Wrexham is they're actually looking to better the town as well. This isn't just some vanity project for the owners, it's not some little toy for them to pump money into until they're bored. They've legitimately revitalised the community, they've pumped money into the women's team, giving young girls in Wrexham role models and a potential career path.

This isn't Chelsea, Emirates Marketing Project or Saudi Sportswashing Machine and the documentary is well worth watching if you haven't. To compare Ryan and Rob to "Putin's bitch" shows you probably haven't watched it.
