That did more to give my footballing spirits a lift than anything since the restart!
Its something we have missed for years, a Capt ( player)willing to give a gonading out to those who are strolling through games.

I agree, it was good to see Lloris having a go at Son and great to hear Jose defending him. We need to be more vocal on the pitch and if players are not putting the effort in then they should be told that their effort is not good enough.

Or got some fresh lemons...I wonder what Poch did in the dressing room when we lost, group hugs?
Probably lit some incense and chanted some mantras.
How many Championship winning sides have players like Dombele in the middle of the park?, players that appear lazy and sulking?

Sadly it counts for absolutely nothing.Yeh. What a dingdong.
Sadly it counts for absolutely nothing.
Pochs methods were working until they stopped working and sadly, it didn't seem like he knew how to get them working again
I think he focussed too much on minor tweaks constantly and the players seemed confused as well as under motivatedPochs methods were working until they stopped working and sadly, it didn't seem like he knew how to get them working again
A bit more than snide remarks though.Sadly it counts for absolutely nothing.
Perhaps he was trying to evolve the team, but basically it was with the same players, plainly a difficult job?I think he focussed too much on minor tweaks constantly and the players seemed confused as well as under motivated
It’s natural to look at what was going wring of your Poch but it’s bloody hard to fix. The fact he tried to distance himself from the players in training may have ended up a positive if he didn’t already have such familiarity and strong relationships with them already
Levy might have legitimate reasoning as well?I don't disagree. But clearly the best period we've had in over 30 years of football was under Poch. So if he had them in the changing room lighting fires and singing Kum-Bay-Yah - his methods were working. Levy just decided we could continue that process without ever evolving the team.
Maybe Levy knows more than every club in world football, they all have it wrong, he has it right. I'm not sure though...
