I liked Erik Lamela before it was cool

Don't get me wrong i think Lamela could be a really good player one day but I don't think he's playing as well as some spurs fans think

I agree with that. Last year he was anonymous, this year he's more involved but he hasnt yet dictated any game and I dont recall him ever being MOTM or particuarly close to it it any game. I think Poch is continuing to pick him partly because as he suits the system far better than Lennon and Townsend and also because Poch probably realises that there's a quality player in there somewhere, but he needs game time in the PL for that talent to come out. Last year he barely played in the PL so it wasnt a surprise a surprise htat he didnt adapt

Completely agree with that, it actually annoys me a bit how he gets a free pass with a lot of his performances on here whilst less popular players have done more in a game and be criticised.

That being said, Im talking about his technical talent both of what Ive seen here and at Roma. But he does need to start affecting games more than he is currently doing....

I agree completely. He hasn't had a stand out performance apart from the QPR game when he got a couple of assists. I also agree Poch realises there is more potential in him than there is in Townsend and Lennon.

South Americans often need time to adapt to the Premier League, for example, he gets pushed off the ball too frequently, I know some don't agree but I've noticed it.

Mohamed Salah, Oscar is only just 23 (September) Hazard is 23 -but was pretty good at 22. Nastasić. Lukaku. and Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Salah isn't on Lamelas planet, let's not be silly.

I personally think it's all down to Spurs in general. If we had signed Oscar when we had the chance who's to say he'd have been as good. Sorry, you put Lamela in Chelseas team and he's sorted, instant starter and on course to being one of the best footballers in the world like Hazard is right now.

He hasn't dictated games no. And it's not his job too. He has had quiet games for sure, he's had okay games and he had an exceptional game albeit against QPR. But he's started 10 games across 3 managers with 3 different mentalities and philosophies.

What a goal that was, very special. Hopfully it will ignite Lamela's Spurs career.

Never gonna tire of watching it!
