Harry Kane MBE

Let's hope that's bullcrap. Won't be surprised to see him back playing as late as December though.

I know - looking at the length of time for these things. Gabriel (Arsenal) did a simular thing early August and hopes to play today (6 weeks). So fingers crossed beginning of November..............I'm thinking beginning of December being a pessimist with these type of things.

I'm hoping he'll be back fireing from January - it could be a major boost for us for the run in. If we manage to hold on to top four without him, spring could be interesting.

A lot of Pessimism in this thread. I think its all just being kept under wraps and he will be back for Leicester at Home personally and ready for Arsenal away a week later. That's the 5-6 weeks right there.

It does annoy me how the club always refuses to say how long they think a player will be out for. I realize that you can't say for certain, but can they not give an estimate based on the extent of the injury. I am sure our medical staff has considerable experience with all kinds of sports injuries.

Good to hear it's better than expected though.

i heard they thought he needed his leg amputated at first so im not sure this news is all its cracked up to be :(

What difference does it make?

Because it's not in their interest. Better to keep the opposition guessing.

We are not keeping opponents guessing though. We have said that Kane won't be playing tomorrow, so CSKA know that. When he is about to be ready to return, we will say that Harry Kane is close to full fitness and that we will make a late decision whether or not to include him in the squad. That is fine. I am not saying that we should tell the opponent the team in advance. I would just like them to give a rough estimate of when he will return based on the assessment of our medical staff.

It makes a difference to me. I worry about it and would like to know. I think it's fair to keep fans informed about the injury situaion of players rather than to keep us in the dark all the time.
Sorry to break the news, but in this instance your opinion and hunger for knowledge means fudge all.
