Harry Kane MBE

On the contrary I reckon that Spanish is the perfect language for a lithp...

On another note £51 million for Bale? I bet that he would go for upwards of £75 million if he were sold tomorrow.

Depends on the nature of the lisp I suppose. I for one have always been surprised that Roy Hodgson can speak Spanish with all the rolling R's going on

Was funny but in all seriousness Poch has said he's not for sale countless times already. I think he should just start telling the media to stop wasting his time. Of course, regardless of what Poch says or even what Harry says the media will keep the rumors running.
Thankfully Poch is pretty cute with the media, he knows exactly how to humour them without saying anything. He has to say something, regardless, so he says something and nothing, regardless. He's savvy enough to know the moment he starts getting shirty with them he'd be eaten for breakfast.

Utter bricke as usual. Claims Soldado is our record signing @ £21m. Telegraph tossers never heard of Lamela.

There's an article in the Torygraph about British players who played oversees listing 10 hits and 10 flops. Greaves is listed as a flop.

Jimmy Greaves (AC Milan)
The Chelsea goal machine tried to get his transfer to Milan cancelled but it was not to be and he joined them for a few unhappy months in 1961, struggling to adapt – although he scored nine in 14.

Scoring 9 in 14 in the Italian league in those days was like scoring a goal a game anywhere else; we could do with a few "flops" of that kind in our team!

So true, that was exactly my reaction when I read it. I still vaguely remember the reports at the time, tbf the Italian media did write him off as a flop but that was more a reflection of their hyper-inflated expectations of this wonder boy who was going to score a hattrick every game - surely in itself a recipe for failure.

Considering how much he hated it out there and couldn't wait to get back, 9 from 15 was nothing less than fantastic.
