Some player mature later than others, I've always thought there's a good player in there and his temper has let him down.
Fair enough. It was enough to suck Man U into buying him and he wouldn’t be the first to choke after moving there - his Everton form has been bad though, not sure if that’s confidence, injury, his role or as you as say his true level being found if he flattered to deceive at SCBC.
Haven't watched a second of his season so far, but AV have been utterly mediocre and got pumped 3-0 today at Mighty Wigan. Hard to see them going up and that will put downward pressure on his transfer fee. Assuming we're still interested. Anyone with any insight on him this year?
Surely he could share a vat of pomade with Alderweireld. We can't afford the high hair maintenance costs. He's not coming.
Just need the handbag to match? Thanks for that. I see that he was wearing a protective boot, which implies a fracture of some sort. I've had to wear one twice, now have a matching pair.
Sounds like the perfect replacement for dembele or Wanyama.Been out for a month and has another 4 weeks on the sidelines...
Also the worst kind of diving, cheating little clam. Far more suited to Chelsea or Victimpool.Watched him closely against the baggies in the play off.
Had a LOT of the ball. Wanted yet more. Did next to nothing creative to get through a packed defence.
Wil draw a lot of fouls and his retention looked great.
It’s a no. Must be better value elsewhere.
West Ham. Him and noble were separated at birthAlso the worst kind of diving, cheating little clam. Far more suited to Chelsea or Victimpool.
Wouldn't bother me if we bought Grealish, think there's a decent player there.
Did you watch the first leg? Sky did a piece before the second leg and pulled up the stats on how he was ranked 1st for all midfield related things from the 1st leg - takeons, assists etc etc Just checked on whoscored and he got rating of 8.33 and star player. But hey, when it comes to someone like him people are always going to see what they want to see.....Watched him closely against the baggies in the play off.

This is where are am on the signing as well. I’d be happy enough with the punt, but the prices quoted in the region of 40m would mean we are spending a large chunk of our transfer budget on him and it is no longer a punt at those prices.Agreed, especially if he isn't the one expected to fix our midfield right away. However, it looks like he's going to cost about 40 million, and I don't think he's worth anything like that. Would much rather push the boat out on Ndombele or Wan-Bissaka and take a bit of a speculative punt on a creative midfielder who is more in that 15-20 range.
Whenever I watch him I always think it is clear that he is a very good player in a reasonably average team. Good, close control, two footed, moves well, nice balance, passes well, carries the ball well, works pretty hard, always wants the ball, rarely gives the ball away. I find it a bit strange that people can watch him and not think he is a good player who should be able to play at a higher level.Did you watch the first leg?
