General Transfer Rumour Discussion Thread

Axel Witsel looks set to leave Zenit. Perhaps we could use our Belgian connection?
I would gladly take him, but I guess the price will be a bit too heavy for us? What did they pay for him in 2012? 40 mill euro? Wouldn't think Zenit is interested in letting him go for anything less.

Yeah I know he's well outside of our reach. Apparently his availability could compromise the Stambouli to PSG deal.

Motta wants out of PSG. Not the youngest but beggars and all....

Could be a good experienced head knocking about the squad, not going to lie I didn't see him play this season so maybe he has lost form. I think he could be a real influence on Bentaleb and Mason.

1) He's likely living at home still.
2) He's 17 so he's not gonna be splashing out on anything substantial. No stupid fast cars, no nights out on the town buying drinks for all his mates, no gambling it away in casino's.
3) As someone said he's an Enfield lad so he's already near enough to the training centre.

Anyways on to a seperate subject. Clasie looks set to sign for Southampton for a heck of a lot less than someone like McCarthy (reported in the Metro that Southampton are paying £8 million). I'm quite gutted that we haven't shown an interest in him.

Can't wait to be linked to him for £25m next summer!!!

reports that jordy clasie to soton for only £8m.

if true - who else do we need to poach from their management team ?

Interesting, just as I was saying about the US connection and signing there captain, LA Galaxy have confirmed that they are signing Mexico star Dos Santos (26) from Villareal for £4.5m which is set to ignite the Latino fanbase in the States.
