General Transfer Rumour Discussion Thread

We can offer substantial higher wages than all but a couple of teams in Germany

but Kramer and Bender play for a rich club in germany, owned by the Bayer pharmeceutical group, who also are in the CL next season iirc...........

Yeah, Kramer and Bender are both VERY unlikely.

The only reason I could see Bender being sold is due to his injury problems. Kramer though is coming off the back of two successful clubs with Gladbach and is now probably going to be a starter for Leverkusen who are in the CL.

Party pooper

ok to make you happy I have some ITK. Dont tell anyone though........the delegation have gone to sign Marco Reus. He has been a Spurs fan since he was 8 or 9, his hero was Ginola, and his dream since then has been to one day play for Spurs. Dortmund are not in the CL so Reus feels its the right time to leave and he desperately wants to play for Poch and Spurs who he sees about to hit the big time like Klopp and Dortmund did back in the day. Levy is desperate to offload Ade so that he can pass on that 100k a week to Reus.

hope that puts a spring in yer step ;)

Was watching him this evening. Scored a great goal against Juve.

so according to the daily express, we will complete the signing of berahino for 15m in the next 48 hours

We can more than match Leverkusen financially. I bet our wage bill is more than twice that of Leverkusen. Most of their 1st team player are on between €10k and €20k a week.

Tottenham chasing £12m-rated Spain international... and Chelsea could help them sign him

SPURS want Napoli’s wide attacker Jose Callejon but will have to raise their initial £8.2million bid to buy him.

They could be helped by Napoli needing cash to fight off Roma to sign Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah.

Spanish international Callejon, 28, has the ability to play in several attacking positions and is the kind of versatile player liked by manager Mauricio Pochettino.

The only thing I think might work for us re: Kramer is that Leverkusen made the UCL without him, so must have players in that position that he will have to displace. Come to Spurs, make more money and walk straight into the first team. At least that would be my sales pitch.

With 0 appearances for them, he's not going to be emotionally attached to the club in the same way if he had played 50+ games. On the other hand he may look at it as a challenge failed if he leaves without ever making it there.

Rumour that Barca are letting Allan Hallovic go for €6m.

We were in for him before he went to Camp Nou. Is he any use to us? Apparently Spam are favourites due to Bilic.

We sell him because he was No thing special, he is a good player, i supported him when he was here. But he wasn't near to become a starter for our team and If I had the choice, I would also keep Mason and Dembele over him.
