I think Pauline has more forward thrust than Dembele. AVB compared him to Lampard - ie a box to box, goalscoring midfielder. Dembele plays too deep to really give us the forward momentum we need - and does not score enough goals or enough assists imo.
With a solid holding midfielder in Sandro/Capoue, surely we can afford to be more adventurous, particularly at home or against the lesser teams away.
