With the run of games coming up between now and the end of February the only chance of picking up points is against Burnley. By the end of that run we will be in a relegation battle, especially if we drop points against Burnley.
 
Looking at our current fixtures, I'm only mildly confident about winning one - Burnley - up until the March.

That's a brutal run. We need a shake up asap. TF has to go

Come on?! He has to go. And whoever was responsible for deciding he was the best person to appoint in the first place needs to consider their own position. Though no doubt that’ll be pinned in Levy.

I don't think a Mason or up and coming coach could cut it. Has to be a more experienced head to steady the ship. Whoever it is, they have a decent defense, a potentially decent midfield but it needs building with Gallagher and Bissouma new players effectively. Neither totally up to speed yet. And somehow they have to get a tune out of our backup attack.

Curious to know which parts of our season still lead you to believe “he will come good”?

Genuine post, not a dig at you.

For me, it’s the “continuing to do the same but expecting a different outcome” that is my main reason for wanting TF gone now. We were told he is tactically astute etc. but all I see is the same system week in, week out just with different players but still producing the same result.

In any other business you would change the inputs to alter the outputs. If he can implement a different playing style then, sure, give him more time but I haven’t seen anything to suggest that is going to happen.
 
Do you think managers have clauses in their contracts that say something like: if placed lower that 15th in the PL table after Xmas you can be sacked with £1m payoff only.

Would make sense. Agents might argue against it, but CL big clubs would say: look you’re a great manager, there’s no way you’ll be in this position, and if you are you will deserve to go.

I’d certainly have something like this in the contract, and any manager unwilling to sign i would question their ambition and confidence in their ability.

(Yes injuries is a logical caveat and issue outside a managers gift).

They should be provided with parameters which indicate what’s acceptable for them with the club. Surely there should be appropriate clauses
 
I can't even watch now. It's horrible football with terrible results. I still think he needs to the end of the season. But right now. I see no positive traits at all. None.

At if he is sacked so be it. Alonso would be amazing.
