Plus congratulations to everyone who correctly predicted the stadium would not be ready for the 1st home match, which tbh was quite obvious from Feb/march time
I think it could have been, but better safe than sorry.
Tbh I still think Sept 15th is touch-and-ho. Despite the excellent progress made in the last month, there still looks to be a lot of work to be done on the exterior of the stadium itself

Only 4 of our first 14 games will be at home at the new WHL
And Liverpool, Emirates Marketing Project and Chelski are 3 of those 4 games

It will be ready by 5 August according to the announcement. It's only the safety certificate that has caused the delay.
Well it looks like Emirates Marketing Project will have a flying start. First 7 games are easy, I'm including the Arse game. So 21 points guaranteed before they play Liverpool match 8. We have to make sure we pick up as many points as possible from our tricky start to keep pace with them
No, it will be ready for a small test event, not a full capacity match. It will be ready by 5 August according to the announcement. It's only the safety certificate that has caused the delay.

So that's 9 points. Just need the away form to hold up.Only 4 of our first 14 games will be at home at the new WHL
