If we swapped Liverpool as well we'd have 7 in a row away.

So will the Fulham match be switched to CC and start with 4 aways, or will Fulham be played at Wembley???

Exactly 3 months to make the ground fit for PL football

Quirky...we play Chelsea, followed by Arsenal then Soton. Then for the reverse fixtures exactly the same order in consecutive matches

Spurs statement immient
We're hearing that the Premier League will release a statement shortly, which ‘will explain everything’ about Tottenham and presumably their new stadium/fixture situation.

wow 8 games between first of dec and 1st of jan.
im in london on the 13th oct, no game as usual. every year it happens to me at this time, bah!

Manager, Mauricio Pochettino: “We are so excited to have the date of the first Premier League match at our new stadium.

“We discussed the timings and the ability to play away games and I think it is a good solution to have an earlier home game. Wembley was great for us last season and we are even more used to that than we are the new stadium. We are excited about the season ahead and making the new stadium our new home. I have stood inside the bowl and I know the atmosphere will be unbelievable – it will be well worth the wait.”

Chairman, Daniel Levy: “I am absolutely delighted to announce the date of our first match in our new home. Our fans have been hugely supportive and this has been much appreciated during a challenging but momentous time.

“I should also like to thank Richard Scudamore and the Board of the Premier League for having regard to exceptional circumstances, along with the Board of Watford for agreeing to reverse our fixture on Matchday 4 to an away game.

"We had always intended to request a few games away at the start of the season. The Coaching staff were keen to place a home game within the early fixtures so we shall have one home game at Wembley.

“We have held extensive scheduling discussions with Mace, our construction manager, and our lead sub-contractors. Our first operational test event will be held on 5 August.”

Below are the approximate dates for when the announcements on matches that have been selected for live TV broadcast will be made:

Aug/Sept 6 July
Oct/Nov 7 August
Dec/Jan 12 October
Feb 12 December
Mar 25 January
Apr 22 February
May 5 April
MW38 post-MW37

Very sensible all round this. I appreciate the frustration for ST holders etc missing out on facilities at nwhl for the Fulham game, hopefully there has been or will be some acknowledgement from the club to that end, but what can they do?

I think Liverpool is a suitably prestigious game to unwrap NWHL.

From Spurs....

Following the release of the fixtures for Season 2018/19 we are delighted to announce that we shall play our first home game at our new stadium on the weekend of 15/16 September 2018 against Liverpool.

As you will note there is a home fixture scheduled for the weekend of 18/19 August 2018 and this match will be played as a home fixture at Wembley Stadium. It was always our intention to seek permission to play the first few games away. In discussions with our Coaching staff the preference was to break what would otherwise have been a continuous run of away games with one game at what was effectively our 'home' stadium last season. Please see details below for season ticket holders and premium members in respect of tickets for this match.

We shall be scheduling several events preceding our first Premier League game in the new stadium to check and rehearse various operational aspects. Further details will be released in the coming weeks.

At this point in time, therefore, barring any significant issues with the final stages of stadium completion, scheduled events are proposed to take place as follows:

• 5 August – Operational test event at new stadium
• 11 August – Away to Saudi Sportswashing Machine
• 18/19 August – Operational test event at new stadium
• 18 August – Home (Wembley Stadium) to Fulham
• 25/26 August – Operational test event at new stadium
• 25 August – Away to Manchester United
• 1 September – Away to Watford
• 1/2 September – Operational test event at new stadium
• 15 September – HOME to Liverpool - First PL game in our new stadium
Further fixture information can be found here
