Because there would be huge amounts of empty seats for a London derby between the teams who finished first and second in the league last season.
But as I've already said we're going to get substantially more than 70k, so there's no need to worry about that scenario. Looking at seats sold so far, I'm confident we'll get more than 76k, so we're on course for a new Prem record, and beating our own all-time 'domestic record'.
I've still got a little hope we can beat our own all-time English home attendance record, which would be a brilliant testament to our fans giving the pricing and our lack of purchasing new players. Some incomings this week would help sales, more importantly a win at Toon,with the added bonus of the return of the 'prodigal Son'
