Eric was poor yesterday but who wasn’t?
Not sure he can be judged till he’s had 6 full games back imho
Exactly
If he gets 6 games
Winks came on and was tackling and running like a mad man

Key passes for which team though? He loves a brain fart and constantly gives the ball away in critical areas either through poor passes or dithering on the ball - yesterday was nothing new, just a reminder of what we’ve been missing....Again that’s an opinion and your entitled to it
I remember him getting slated last season vs Brighton too yet it was him with the key passes that helped us win the game
He may not get back to his best but you can’t getting an odd game that’s for sure

He just looked waaaay off the pace and was awful. It happensLooked to me like he was trying to hard, rushed and lacked composure.
Exactly what I would expect from someone returning from injury and wanting to make an impact.
I thought he started off ok but as the game got away from us he got more and more frustrated and his touch went out the window. He just looked waaaay off the pace and was awful. It happens

i actually believe Winks will be a far better player with Dier in the position behind him. Winks ( imo) has played in a position that does not enable to be at his best, now Dier is back i think we will see the best of him again.
Where would you play NDombele then?
Lots of people claim so, then go very quiet when his actual speed is shown to them.
Possibly, not seen any data on that.Personally I think it's not his top speed that's the issue, it's his agility and acceleration.

Would like to see it measured - being slow on the turn often looks very similar to being left with too many people to mark in a game situation.
I'm fairly sure the technology is already there tracking them the way NFL players are, but I don't think the clubs share the dataDon’t know if you follow NFL, but I’d LOVE to see all PL players be put through the Combine drills that the draft prospects have to do. Would be very interesting.

Foyth.Desparate times call for desperate measures though. I'll be fudged if we have many other options.
I would probably play N’Dombele in the role that Eriksen played for us a couple of seasons ago.Where would you play NDombele then?
I hope Dier can get back to what he was 3 years ago. My worry is that the monster that was Dembele was partly responsible for making Dier look better.

Hopefully Poch 2.0 proves to be better at devising a winning system sans Dembele than AVB was without Bale!I hope Dier can get back to what he was 3 years ago. My worry is that the monster that was Dembele was partly responsible for making Dier look better.
