You have provided no solution how the increased revenue breaks our glass ceiling, I am perfectly entitled to criticise the descisions ENIC have made and the fact that in my opinion there isn’t an intention of pushing us really forward but more for us to simply survive in the upper echelons with the occasional push for the CL. To achieve sustained success is simply to risky and in my opinion they primary goal is to raise the value of their asset.

The pro ENIC posters seem to think that this is a short term reaction but ENIC have been here over twenty years.
You buy ENIC’s line and I don’t. I hope I’m wrong and you’re right but at the moment I don’t see it and that isn’t based on short termism that’s based on suppprting the club over the twenty years they have been in charge

The best thing going for us is the foundation that ENIC have put in place. It should negate against us slipping back too far, and then we’ll rebuild. Teams go through cycles. You can’t expect ongoing advancement always.

I do wonder if we had the same close knit support we enjoyed in the last season at WHL with a dedicated fan base giving the team full support, would we fair better?

Unless Levy’s children inherit the club then eventually we will get new owners. Whether they will be better than the current ones remains to be seen but it’s wrong to assume either way that they will be better or indeed worse.

If a government were in charge of a country for 20 years and started making some bad decisions along the way, quite a lot of people would think it’s time for a change. I think it’s a similar case here.

But people can vote for a new government. If you don't like an owner of a business or that business, you stop giving them money. Or someone buys them out.

When I say ENIC’s line the pro ENIC sentiment would have been a better description, that they are building a platform for long term success.

i see as an investment to bulk up the club’s value and sell it on at a profit and any type of risk required to compete with our rivals won’t be countenanced.

I enjoyed the ride to the cl but I don’t need your advice to enjoy the ride now ok afraid.

I don’t see as in any type of cycle, I see it as a rinse and repeat exercise of hitting a glass ceiling and regressing to mean.

I’ll repeat whilst ENIC may be great business people and have enhanced the value of their asset, I do not see us being anything either than a club which bumbles around between 6-8th with the occasional surges to 4th under them unless there is a drastic change in their MO

I thinks that's quite obvious ... but in saying so since pochs departure fans are turning on Enic, that cohesion has gone. Fans are polarised and Levy didn't help himself trying to join the super league after the way he dumped poch.

Fans have turned but as is always the case can’t even organise a protest without getting drunk

They were turning on enic way before poch arrived. Look at the first post in this thread.

Abramovich then the city lot coming in and spending billions to get to the top, made fans think we can't compete. Unless we have similar. To a certain extent they are correct. Although for a while we did compete.

As for the super league, did you expect levy to say no i don't want to be a part of that and let them go off and create it on their own?

I get people wanting new owners, i do too. I want some better players too and to win trophies. We should always want more.

But unless someone comes in with the right bid, enic are our owners. They are not terrible owners.

I dont actually think Enic are that bad in what they have done, but it's clear to get to the next tier, is to have a team built and invested in like they did the stadium and training ground.

Hes got champagne and wine vaults in the stadium and ribena and orange juice made from concentrate on the pitch.

Enics model will not bring any silverware any time soon as they simply are not here to chase glory, rather to fatten up the goose for a healthy profit.

Put the club up for a reasonable price and let's see who wants it bad enough.

Let's see. Had we not had a history of failing at the last hurdle with players going to other teams at the last minute like Diaz in January I may be more optimistic. (BTW his father said we just strung the whole process out and could have had him).

But yes nothing to see right now, Let's get this another transition season over with and see what the summer brings.

Watching Spurs decline and being told that we are competitive is not enjoyable. No I'm not enjoying much about spurs these days, and being competitive would be the bonus.

When I go to see a game I want my team to play well and win, that's only natural but I also want to see a good game and I believe I can still appreciate good play from both teams, too many only see one team. I dislike certain teams and players but can see their talent. I've never understood all the hate for Rooney.
