I've always thought that Porro would be a better makeshift LB than some of the choices we've made like Emerson. Are ew not better having Spence or Gray in their natural positions and the more accomplished Porro making the shift over to the other side?

If you have Porro and Gray/Spence as wing backs, you would rather change as little as possible in the back 4 i.e. keep Porro at right back

right now - better to rotate and let Spence have game time than risk injury to udogie who seems to get tired by the 60 min mark
even if it means getting porro to the left and spence on the right.

vdv can play marauding LB and dragusin in his place but its a more demanding role.
