I'd agree with that though the dive at the end was appalling.
If he gets away with it, good for him. I'm a bit tired of our players all being nice chaps who laugh off challenges and walk away when the opposition are being clamy and leaving their feet in when jumping into tackles. Let him snarl, let him leave his foot in when jumping into challenges, and let him dive: Bale used to do it, and we didn't lambast him too much, did we?
An eye for an eye, imo. Sunderland were overly physical today, and Joe Allen ****ed us over two weeks ago. Screw taking the higher road, I want us to do whatever it takes to get revenge for those sorts of things.
Now, if you were criticising the technique of the dive, then I agree, it was appalling and he could have done it better. More practise required, imo.
