I think Rose having issued an apology (however weak it was) means that there's a little wiggle room in how we treat him. It certainly makes his introduction back into the team a little easier.I can be quite vindictive when people show a lack of integrity, so at the moment I'd prefer Poch to brutally take Rose apart in the press conference. And refuse to sell him or play him for one whole season. Probably not in the best interests of the club though...
I still believe we have to show a hard front to this though and make it clear that doing what Rose did does not get you a payrise and neither does it get you a move to another club. Getting your head down, playing some good football and acting like a consummate professional does, and if he still wants to move then we should let him (on our terms) next summer.
