I’m not disputing what we bring as a crowd, but European teams are something different. This is just a domestic night game against a team we play twice a season.

Tough fixture but I reckon we can do them over 2 legs, they have played a lot of games and things may catch up with them. Fernandinho might be out for instance and they have shown they're beatable.

Very predictable. We simply don’t get easy draws because we’re not powerful enough in the game yet.

But...how can you say a CL QF is boring? Having the home leg first at least means the atmosphere should be amazing.

Also our players should be fighting for their lives to win this.

Have a feeling it will be an epic match.

Ok ... disappointing, because I want European match ups not teams we play twice a year already. Plus they're a doped team that are odds on to beat us (realism) especially as the old 'one off game' mantra doesn't apply.

Liverpool blitzed them last year ...so who knows.

But we could have had Juve or Barca who we have played and lost two in the last year

And of course Ajax or Porto... but you only get one team each round

Much rather have played Juve or Barca, there is more of the element of surprise. City or Liverpool were the worst draws for us in my book. There’s less of an inspiration factor playing teams from our league too, less magic.

I’d have loved Ajax though

But its the UEFA Champions League, it just doesnt have the same feel to it playing one of the top PL teams who you play all the time, compared to a two legged game against a Barca, Real, Juve etc.....
