It’s not even the difficulty of the task, it’s such a different atmosphere playing a top European team, especially for the first time at the new ground. I really fancy us with half a chance against a European team as they don’t know our strengths and weaknesses as well, Dortmund for example sat off at Wembley and allowed us to impose ourselves.

A London Derby away in every round of the carabao cup including a two legged semi- final against our rivals .The group of death two years running and Juventus in the last 16. The German league leaders and now the premier League leaders.

I’m not disputing what we bring as a crowd, but European teams are something different. This is just a domestic night game against a team we play twice a season.
